The PLAY (Promoting Lively and Active Youth)

The PLAY (Promoting Lively and Active Youth) Foundation of Northwest Wisconsin is a non-profit organization founded to fight childhood obesity through the facilitation of programs that educate and encourage local youth to make healthy life choices. PLAY developed the Kids in Motion program for the Rice Lake public school district and St. Joseph’s parochial school. The Kids In Motion program has expanded to the Cameron and Birchwood school districts. PLAY also sponsors the annual PLAY Fun Run held in conjunction with the Rice Lake Aquafest and Winter Fest. PLAY is funded by various corporate sponsors and private donations.
