Date: May 7th, 2009
Where/Who: Students in Rice Lake public elementary schools, St. Joseph’s parochial school and Birchwood public school will be exercising for 30 minutes with high school athletes, teachers, parents, friends and relatives. The Rice Lake middle school students will have a guest speaker on healthy lifestyles.
What: The goal is to have someone in each school moving at all times during the school day and to teach kids that “Fitness is Fun”. Each class will take turns walking with teachers, parents and other volunteers.
Cost: Free
Other: Elementary students will be given an item commemorating the event.
Exercise Log: Kids will be given an exercise log that can be used to participate in the 2nd Annual PLAY Fun Run held during Aquafest.
